Hey Mark, this is Casey Wiese... Ray told me that you were still in the music game! I took guitar lessons from you about 30 years ago. You were already incredible then, so I can't even imagine how good you are today!
I remember you carefully taking the Beatles White album out of its case a gently placing it on the turn table to listen to guitar parts. I also remember you having the neatest gadgets for guitar effects before anyone else had them. I still have my Cry-Baby from all those years ago.
Your inspiration lead me to music. I played as lead vocalist (a little rythym guitar)with an east coast touring band for a while and did an album with a band called AKA in the late 80's. Written a lot of songs over the years, but never made anything of it. I got a "real" job about 25 years ago and I'm now working for an Oil&Gas Company in Alaska as a Quality Engineer.
Great to hear you're still living music, this is one CD I've got to hear!

Mark , sorry to tell you the bad news thru this forum , but Rick Andrews passed away Sept. 25 of heart failure . In lieu of funeral , Margy (his wife ) and his family and friends will be congregating May 24th of next year @ the Frio river to release his ashes back to the earth . He specifically asked me to invite you and we will provide a cabin for you if your schedule allows . The last time I was at Rick's studio we listened to a old 45 of yours ( Steppin Out and Girls , Girls , Girls )Rick and I always thought you more in vein of Glenn Hughes than Steve M. but part of the beauty of music is sometimes different people hear different things . Mark , keep doing what you're doing and am lookong forward to hearing "Rock and Roll Soul " Rick and mine's new cd 'Bohemian Road " should be out in Nov. Hey Mark! Long time no see. Pat says hi also. Hope you are doing well. Good to see you are still rockin'. Really like your site. I am re-working our site 2oldsouls.com at the moment.
